Making Batik Fabric using Flour Paste Resist

Batik is a method of creating pattern and design on fabric, traditionally using waxes and dyes which are applied layer by layer. This is a very time consuming method and skill, however these days there are lots of different ways to create “faux” batik using different kinds of resists. This tutorial explains a simple method of creating batik using a flour paste resist which is easy enough for anyone to do and looks fantastic.
